We have six baby feeding specialists including a tongue tie expert. As breastfeeding consultants, they can provide you with one on one support visiting you at home or talking to you on the telephone. They know all too well that breastfeeding is not always easy and are passionate about providing support and practical help for those who need it.
Between them they have several children, all of whom were breastfed (some more easily than others!) so they have the benefit of personal experience as well as many years' experience working with mothers who are finding breastfeeding challenging. We know that the sooner you get help, the better, so, if you are finding breastfeeding challenging, please don’t hesitate to contact us, it could make all the difference.

“Having had difficulties breastfeeding my first baby I wasted no time in booking Louisa’s services to advise me when my second baby arrived: it was the best decision. Louisa offered me exactly the support I needed, giving me the confidence to continue breastfeeding my second baby which resulted in a much easier and more rewarding experience than I had ever imagined was possible. Thank you, Louisa!“ Mary
“Our daughter was born with an undiagnosed tongue tie and was unable to breastfeed. We contacted Louisa, and she made herself available immediately. It was a difficult time, and Louisa’s compassion and knowledge put me and our daughter at ease. Louisa gave me practical and helpful advice, and put us in touch with a consultant to fix the tongue tie, which she had discovered. Louisa continued to provide support and suggestions during those our early weeks. Our daughter began breastfeeding at two weeks and is thriving! We are so grateful for Louisa’s professionalism and highly recommend her services.” Laurie
“Thank you for coming by at such short notice and for imparting some words of wisdom and calm!! I really, really appreciated it. Some very useful tips and especially, some great reassurance. And the email is a perfect handy recap too. It was great to be able to quiz you a bit on all your expertise and also just to offload a bit of sleep deprived madness!! Counselling par excellence.” Victoria
“Louisa is amazing – she worked tirelessly to help me with my breastfeeding issues and gave valuable advice to prevent them from recurring. She always makes herself available and is a tremendous help.” Linda
“Louisa visited me for a one on one consultation when my second baby was 4 days old. Her approach was brilliantly practical, for example, she explained some basic mechanics of breastfeeding which I found incredibly helpful and she also got me to try a new position which instantly resulted in me experiencing no pain from feeding (boobs / back / shoulders etc)."
"Louisa is a very easy person to have with you in a very intimate environment and immediately made me feel comfortable. This is crucial – especially for first time mothers who are perhaps less confident. Rather than instruct you she discusses options with you which I far preferred. One is treated as an individual and Louisa takes a genuine interest in finding a way forward that works for you as well as the baby. She is gentle but immaculately organised – she sent me a follow up email noting down all of the points we had discussed which was enormously helpful when one is prone to forgetting things. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her to anyone looking for advice on breastfeeding.” Veronica
“Louisa came to see me 5 days after our second son, Albie, was born. I was finding it very painful breastfeeding and needed advice as to what the problem could be. Her ability to listen and her calm and sensible approach were immediately reassuring at what feels like an impossibly tiring time. With Louisa we tried out a few different breastfeeding positions but most importantly she spotted that Albie had tongue tie and that this was almost certainly the cause of the problem. This was something I had never heard of and it was a huge relief to know that a solution could almost certainly be found. At the same time I never felt under pressure to continue breastfeeding – we also discussed the best way of reducing milk supply should I choose to move to formula."
"I really didn’t enjoy feeding my first child due to the pain I experienced and it has been wonderful to be able to get it right second time around so I can honestly say that Louisa’s help was life-changing; for both me and my baby, and for that I am eternally grateful.” Georgia
"Louisa was also extremely caring in her approach – this was particularly necessary after some sleepless nights; feelings of inadequacy and foolishness for not being able to get it right (particularly with my second child) and owing to it being the notorious ‘day 4′ when I found myself crying for no reason! I also had a phone consultation with Louisa when my baby was two weeks old and I was really doubting my ability to give him enough milk and again her calm and reassuring advice at that time allowed my confidence to return."
